What is ALFsource?
ALFsource provides employee administration and operational compliance programs that create customized partnerships with Assisted Living Facilities.  We cost-effectively tackle the common difficulties faced by communities and allow Executive Directors to focus on improving resident care and building profitable census.

How is ALFsource different?
ALFsource has designed its PEO offering to tackle the employee and compliance problems that affect all assisted living communities.  We know the common pitfalls that exist in Assisted Living, go beyond the basic services that most payroll or HR outsourcing firms provide to deliver technology, training and consulting solutions to help you ensure that your communities remain in compliance and maintain profitable census. How do ALFsource client communities communicate with ALFsource experts?
ALFsource clients work directly with HR and assisted living professionals who are trained as ALF Administrators and are charged with implementing customized solutions to improve communities. Our people have deep knowledge of assisted living, coordinate all aspects of the relationship, and act as employee equivalents to reduce need for administrative staff.

Our team acts as liaison to your employees by responding to employee benefit questions, garnishments, time clock issues, HR training requests, etc. We work with management to assist with compliance audits, sensitive employee issues, workers’ compensation claims, employment handbooks, and training programs. We get to know the unique challenges each community faces with operations and staff and put together a well-documented service program that outlines how we will improve these outcomes.

How do you recruit management and staff for ALFs?
We get to know the resident demographics and internal culture to establish recruiting parameters where we identify the traits that are necessary for a candidate to be successful in each community. We utilize our recruiting platform to post open positions through a wide variety of job boards and social media outlets to generate strong applicant pools.  We utilize a mix of phone screens, written interview questions, and in-person interviews to create a complete candidate profile for the executive director to consider. We clearly communicate job responsibilities, draft and present employment offers, and conduct pre-employment screenings and background checks.
